  • Alan Barton, PhD

    Chief Executive Officer

    Alan Barton has led Lehigh since 2008 and has spearheaded expansion into new markets around the world. He has more than two decades of experience in the specialty chemicals industry, including over a decade of management experience. Alan was previously executive vice president at chemicals giant Rohm and Haas, where he led the company’s global coatings businesses. He began his 23-year career at Rohm and Haas in research and development before being promoted into larger management roles in both Europe and the United States. While at Rohm and Haas, Alan also led the company’s sustainable development efforts.

    Alan holds an undergraduate degree from University College, Oxford, and a Ph.D. in chemistry from Harvard University.

  • Jeff Schramm

    Chief Financial Officer

    Jeff Schramm has more than a decade of experience in executive management. Before joining Lehigh, Jeff was vice president of finance at Euramax International, a leading global fabricator of metal and composite products. He was also the Corporate Controller of North America for Kemira Chemicals, where he spearheaded the integration of FinnChem and Lanxess Paper Chemicals.

    Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in corporate finance and investment management, as well as an M.B.A.

  • Kedar Murthy

    Vice President and General Manager, Tire & Rubber

    Kedar Murthy has more than two decades of experience in developing business strategy, managing sales teams, marketing, operations and finance in the global chemicals industry. He has experience in managing both specialty and commodity chemicals businesses and has led several startups within large corporations. He has also established joint ventures in India, Brazil and Russia.

    Previously, Kedar was executive vice president of global OEM business at GPX International Tire. Before that, he held several senior leadership positions at Cabot Corporation, including director of global sales, marketing and technical services for all specialty chemicals businesses and the corporate e-business group. In a previous role at General Electric, he was recognized as “Marketing Person of the Year.” Kedar is the marketing chair for TiE-Boston (The Indus Entrepreneurs) and served as chair for TiECON East, the East Coast's largest entrepreneurial conference.

    Kedar holds a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and a master’s degree in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

  • Tom Rosenmayer, PhD

    Vice President, Technology

    Tom Rosenmayer has more than two decades of experience developing technologies at both large and small technology companies, including Baker-Hughes, IBM, W.L. Gore & Associates and Shamrock Technologies. He has a diverse background in technology, marketing and general management, including a five-year international assignment in Germany.

    Tom earned his Ph.D. in materials science from Rice University and is a co-author on numerous technical publications and patents.

  • Jason Stravinski

    Vice President of Operations

    Jason Stravinski brings over a decade of experience in engineering, management and operations and is responsible for leading all the manufacturing and supply chain functions for Lehigh. He has also spearheaded the engineering and design work for expanding Lehigh’s manufacturing footprint outside the United States. Before joining Lehigh in 2012, Jason spent nine years in operational roles for Intel.

    Jason is a graduate of the University of Florida with a degree in chemical engineering, and he earned an MBA from the University of New Mexico.

  • Ryan Alleman

    Vice President, Coatings, Asphalt & Oilfield

    Ryan Alleman brings two decades of technical and management expertise to Lehigh’s coatings and construction segments, where he established and now leads the division. Ryan has established Lehigh as a market leader by introducing a rigorous, technically based approach to the use of MRP in target segments. Before Lehigh, Ryan spent 14 years at Ciba Specialty Chemicals in several market development and commercial leadership roles.

    Ryan holds degrees in chemistry and business.

  • Greg Henwood

    Sales Director, Plastics & Polyurethanes

    Greg Henwood has over two decades of experience in the plastics, industrial products and technologies, and automotive industries. He has extensive experience in acquisition, startup and turnaround scenarios in both U.S. and international markets. Previously, he served as president and chief operating officer of REKO International Group, a large component precision manufacturing, plastics components and plastic injection and compression molds company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange. Greg also served as chief operating officer at Rieter Automotive Systems, one of the world’s leading suppliers of noise control and heat management systems in motor vehicles. While there, he was a member of the senior management team overseeing $160 million in annual revenues. Greg has also held senior management positions at Collins & Aikman Products Company, Perstorp Components Inc., and Seamco Inc.

  • Glenn Denstaedt

    Technical Director, Tire and Industrial Rubber

    Glenn Denstaedt brings over 20 years of experience in rubber compounding and materials development at a range of specialty chemicals and performance materials companies. Before joining Lehigh, Glenn was section head, materials and testing development, at Maxxis International, where he investigated the properties of rubber compounds used in tires. Before that, he was at Cabot Corporation, where he provided technical service for carbon blacks for the tire market. Earlier in his career, Glenn was a senior development engineer at Firestone Tire and Rubber Company, where he developed rubber compounds for passenger tires.

    Glenn holds a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Oakland University.

  • Bill Schreiber

    Technical Director, Plastics

    Bill Schreiber has three decades of plastics industry experience in technical, manufacturing and management positions with leading companies such as Celanese Corp., Ball, Monsanto, Asahi Kasei, MRC Polymers and Bayer Material Science. Before that, he was the chief operations officer of Delta Polymers/Amplas Compounding. He has extensive international experience serving as a technical liaison to companies in Germany, Ireland, England and Japan.

    Bill is a graduate of Raritan Valley College in New Jersey.

  • Chad Jasiunas

    Technical Manager, Functional Materials at Lehigh Technologies

    Chad Jasiunas is an experienced engineer and project manager with over a decade of experience in the tire and rubber industries. Before joining Lehigh, Chad was the team leader for styrene butadiene (SBR) rubber at Synthos S.A., Europe's leading manufacturer of emulsion rubbers and polystyrene for foaming applications. While at Synthos, he led a new department in research and development to develop functional SBR technologies at the technical scale to produce 100 MT of rubber and revenues of approximately $300 million annually. Chad has also held management and technical roles at Fomo Products, Inc., one of the largest global manufacturers of low-pressure polyurethane foam, and Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. While at Goodyear, Chad served as a research engineer in the exploratory polymer research group, where he worked on the development of functionalized solution SBR rubbers, polymer scale-up and compound development. He also worked with Goodyear's purchasing and supply chain organizations, serving as supply chain specialist for the North American consumer tire production planning team.

    Chad holds a master's degree in chemical engineering from Princeton University and a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University.

  • Ian Wheeler

    Technical Manager, Polyurethanes

    Ian Wheeler is a 30-year industry veteran and leads the customer-facing polyurethane application development team at Lehigh's Application and Development Center (ADC). Ian is responsible for close collaboration with customers in support of Lehigh’s commercial team around the world. Ian joined the company with extensive experience developing polyurethane systems applications across many market segments. Previously, he worked in technical and sales executive roles at some of the world's largest PU suppliers, including Dow Chemical, ICI/Huntsman and Arkema.

    Ian holds degrees from Mohawk College and Westmount University, and an MBA in international business from Saint Joseph’s University.
